Resuming Clubhouse Dine-in Service

Dear Friends, 

The Clubhouse will reopen next week!  We are all looking forward to seeing all of you again very soon.  Our main goal is to protect the safety of all of our Members and Staff so we ask for your cooperation and patience as we reopen in a measured, responsible way.    We would like to share with you the steps we are taking to comply with Governor Hutchinson’s Directive on Resuming Dine-in Operations and how it impacts us here at Searcy Country Club.

Please review our dine in reopening procedures below:

The Clubhouse will reopen on Tuesday, May 12th with seating up to 33% of our total seating capacity.  This is for indoor and outdoor seating areas.  Tables will be reconfigured to be 10 feet apart so the chairs are a least 6 feet apart from chairs for the adjacent table to comply with reopening directives.    We have tables of varying sizes with the largest being for a group of 10 in the Board room.   Some tables will be in use on different days at different times.  Please be sure to respect directional signage on tables – closed / reserved and sanitized / not yet sanitized.

Reservations are required for Clubhouse dining 501.268.8577  This is essential for proper table configurations and staffing.   We will take reservations in 10-minute intervals to avoid groups arriving at the same time.  Reservations will have a start and end time based on the size of your table to help accommodate other Members who would like to dine.   While we have limited seating capacity, staff, and additional sanitation requirements we will only reserve one table in one area for each group.   We encourage everyone to use our outdoor seating options.  

Everyone is required to be wearing a mask / face covering upon entering the Clubhouse.  (Please bring your own to the Club.)  You may remove your mask after you have been seated at your table and served.  

It’s been a long time since we have seen each other but please be mindful of physical distancing (6 feet) while at the Club especially while entering and while you are waiting to be seated at your table.   Please refrain from handshakes, hugs and other close physical contact – especially with the Staff.  This puts the Staff in a very awkward situation and jeopardizes all the other Members they serve.  

The standard table settings have been changed to reduce the exposure rate.  Sanitized silverware will be rolled into napkins and placed at your table when seated.  Condiments, salt, and pepper shakers will be available by request.  (Similar to table set up prior to closing dine-in service.)

All tables and chairs will be sanitized between visits and contact points throughout the clubhouse will be sanitized several times a day.  All floor staff who come in contact with Members are required to wear a mask and gloves.  Staff will be screened daily before entering the facility.  

Normal service of alcohol within the clubhouse seating areas by your server will resume however there is no alcohol service directly from the bar.  You would order from your server at your table.  

We are experiencing many different shortages that are changing daily.  This includes staffing, supplies, ingredients for menu items and so forth.  Please be aware we may need to limit hours, number of Members we can serve, and menu items based on availability.  As of now, our days of operation will remain the same, however, we will have a clearly defined Clubhouse closing time of 9 pm Tuesday – Thursday and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday.

We will begin accepting reservations this Friday for the week beginning May 12th.  Reservations may be made up to 7 days in advance (can call Saturday for a reservation the next Saturday).  As stated above – Reservations are required for dine-in service.  

Safety items to remember – 

If you are in the vulnerable group, please carefully consider visiting the Clubhouse at this point.  

For the protection of Members and Staff –   Please refrain from dining with us if any of the following pertain to you:

You are exhibiting any symptoms of the coronavirus: mild to severe respiratory illness with fever, cough and or difficulty breathing or other symptoms identified by the CDC such as shortness of breath, repeated shaking and chills or muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell and diarrhea.

You or anyone in your household has been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

You have traveled to a high risk COVID-19 area in the last 14 days.
